Housing Committee

The Civic Association Housing Committee is recruiting members who are interested in researching and developing a variety of resources addressing neighborhood housing needs in the areas of home repair, financial assistance, and vacancy reduction.

This will include helping homeowners access maintenance assistance, rehab their homes, increase accessibility and energy efficiency, and avoid foreclosure and other negative financial consequences that may lead to vacancy. The committee will also consider and include the needs of renters, explore partnerships, conduct community outreach, and track neighborhood housing trends to proactively support our neighbors.

Ednor Gardens Lakeside's housing stock is one of its primary assets, and this committee will work to build upon and accentuate that asset.The committee will meet at least one evening per month and work closely with other committees and the Civic Association Board.
